2D solo-pilot space MMO
An empire held this space once. Now it's just you, one ship, and the people who stayed to keep the lights on. Fly out alone, read the dark, and live or die by what you decided to bring.
The pitch
A space MMO you fly one ship at a time. No fleet at your back, no autopilot doing the boring part, no second screen running while you sleep. Just you, the dark between stations, and whatever you were smart enough to bring.
Combat
Fights are quiet, fast, and almost never about reflexes. Your guns track on their own — the choice that matters is upstream: what you flew, how close you let them get, and whether you read their move before they made it.
Watch a thirty-second fight and you can see exactly who's ahead. So can they — which is why half of them never start.
The world
Systems that should sit light-years apart sit hours apart by sail. Stay near the lights and your life is safe and small. Push out, and every mistake costs more — and the things you find get stranger the further you go.
The peoples
Scattered into the dark long enough to grow into different kinds of human, then thrown back together at the one port that keeps its doors open. Pick whose people are yours.
Stakes
The hull is gone for good, and some of what you fitted to it. The pilot isn't — your skill, your record, everything in storage stays. Real enough to mean something, bounded enough to risk. The wreck stays where it fell, and someone always comes looking.
